COMPUTER GOES OUT

I have Windows XP, 1G RAM, 2 megahertz clock speed.
After scanning for spies and viruses .
All power management controls are not used.
During use the computer shuts off, the standby light is on. It is a Gateway
computer, Has one on-off light. Normal colors... Green is on, red-yellow
color standby, no light is off
