computer freezes

Ihave ran spybot and adware and no bugs and I have done a system restore and
still it will freeze and nothing works? the mouse will not work or anything
and I have to do a hard reboot

could you give us alittle more on the details? what are you doing when it
freezes? do you notice anything , like, say, your computer clicking when it
freezes up?

furthermore, what Operating System are you useing? how old is your computer?
ect.
