Computer freezes - time goes slower

Hi!

Recently, sometimes my computer freezes for a couple of seconds and
then it just starts to work really slow to the point that I have to
make a hard reset. What's more intresting, is that the time goes really
slow on the computer, like 5 minutes of real time pass, and on the
computer only 2 minutes pass.

Has anybody seen that before?

I have an IBM Thinkpad T30, Win XP Pro SP2 fully updated.
