computer can't communicate with the printer

Hi,

I just installed a Belkin 4 port USB hub (F5U231) on my PC and now my PC can't communicate with my printer (Lexmark X73 printer/scanner). I have a USB2 PCI Card that I am connecting the Belkin hub to. My webcam is already attached to a port on the hub and seems to be working fine. Any ideas? Thanks!

Hi,

Is it a powered hub? There may be insufficient power through the hub for the
printer. If other devices work ok through it, and the printer works fine
when attached directly to the tower, then this is probably the issue.
