computer automatically restarts over and over

my daughter was play-typing on the computer keyboard, and now it just
restarts over and over. The computer is not hooked up to the internet. We
just use it for wordproccessing etc. Is there a way I can interrupt the
rebooting and restore it?

Press F8 during the black screen portion of a restart, and see if you get
the safe mode menu. Use 'Safe mode With Command Prompt' to do a system
restore.

If no help, from safe mode:
Press WinKey-Break,(or start/run 'sysdm.cpl'), click Advanced Tab, Start
Up... area, Settings button, Remove check from "Automatically Restart" On
the next reboot, you will be able to read what caused the restart (when it
errors)
