Complete Lockout

I have Windows XP Pro on my Compaq. Everything was
running fine today and I rebooted because I was
installing Broadband Internet and My computer settings
have changed and completely locked me out. I do not know
what happened. The product ID is missing so i cant
contact Microsoft and I am at a loss as far as fixing the
problem. I type my password in and it will not let me
into my computer! Any information on resolving this
problem would be extremely helpful.

Try to go for a system restore to reset your computer to the state it was before your installed your broadband software.
