Compile error message?

A

Alan Burke

Help, I am getting the following message when I launch Excel, and a further
message when I close it. Other than that it seems to work OK. But I am fed
up having to close the messages.

On Launch:
Compile error in hidden module: AutoExexNew

On Closing
Compile error in hidden module: DistMon

The help file mentions something about unprotecting modules?
I am not an expert in Excel, Home User.

Sound like a rouge add-in. Open Excel, go to Tools>Add-ins... and deselect
everything checked. Close Excel and if the error has gone, add them back
one at a time, closing and opening excel each time and when it comes
back...that's the one

Hey, hold on...are you guys cutting and pasting? Your's and Gord's reply
are identical down to the colon!

If you've seen me type, my way is far more painful ;-)

In fact, I typed this all out <vbg>.

(If only Bart Simpson could do it this quickly!)

Thank you for your help, I did what you said and removed the PDFmaker.xla
and that fixed it.
I was :-( now I am :) Cheers
