Comp. freezes at 'Windows XP' startup screen

Neth Wiedemann

I am now in safe-mode with networking and the sluggishness
of it all is killing me. Whenever I try to boot up my
computer in regular mode (i.e - non safe-mode) my computer
will seemingly boot up normally and then freeze at the
startup screen displaying ''Windows XP'' with that little
yellow worm going acrosse the screen and then it just
freezes and wont keep booting up. I am forced to restart
again on the case and boot up in safe mode with
networking. It showed a blue screen once but I can't get
the blue screen back on...anyone have any idea what the
problem is? I've already tried system restore and that
won't solve the problem because it won't restart after I
restore it....

(e-mail address removed) or just reply here...thanks alot
