Hi,
This is the 1st time using this form of discussion, so I hope I get it
right. I need to know where I would go to download driver for communication
Port 2. I had Com(2) about two months ago and just yesterday went to
download my pictures from camcorde memory stick using com port 2. This port
is now missing and don't know how to get it back.

Would appreciate any help.

Thank you,
Carol

Should be automaticly installed with the software that came with the camera.

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the software that came with
your camera?

A regular serial port doesn't seem very practical for such a purpose. Is
there some reason you are not using a USB port?

Many people HIGHLY reccomend a USB port memory card/stick adaptor
instead of connecting the camera itself to the computer. If nothing
else, the use of the adaptor doesn't discharge the camera batteries.

Yes, I have installed and reinstalled three times. I think you are right
about using USB port. I have two choices, a memory stick reader (USB) or
Memory Stick Floppy Disk Adaptor. Do you know which is better and easier to
use. Floppy disk one cost more, guess I was trying to save money.

Thank you for your help and if you can answer my last question about which
one is easier to use, I would appreciate it.
