I am reposting this... need help!
I have added a LG combo drive GSA 4040B to e: and a LG CD\DVD R drive to f:
Moviemaker does not allow me to copy to drive!
Have read the help and do not have a recording tab!
I have unloaded and loaded the drives with and without rebooting and
phisically removing and reinstalling one at a time.
I did have a HP CD -RW dive before in the computer could this be the problem
I am out of ideas!
How do I get a recording tab?
More background
"Open My Computer>CD-ROM Drive in question, right click Properties>Recording
Enable CD Recording on the drive."
Microsoft article 316529 taked about the regedit - checked and it is fine!
combo r/w is 2 and combo r is 3
The DVD/CD R/W is in e drive and a DVD/CD R is F drive.
The icon in my computer for the f drive is correct the e drive shows a CD
rom untill a DVD r/W is put in and it changes to the DVD icon
Drivers in use: both optical drives have the same drivers
c:\wiondows\system 32\Drivers\cdrom.sys
" \imapi.sys
\redbook.sys
c:\windows\system 32\storp.dll
Let me know what you think!
