COM+ Event System error

The following has been showing up in my event log recently:

Event Type: Error
Event Source: EventSystem
Event Category: Event System
Event ID: 4097
Date: 9/8/2003
Time: 10:00:25 AM
User: N/A
Computer: ***********
Description:
The COM+ Event System detected a bad return code during its
internal processing. HRESULT was 800706BA from line 42 of
..\eventsystemobj.cpp. Please contact Microsoft Product
Support Services to report this error.

The HRESULT value is not always the same. Is this a sign
of something bad? Everything seems to be working fine.
Obviously I'm posting here first as opposed to paying PSS
TIA for any help!

Ok, that one sounds about right since It's a Win2K Server
box and the system does tend to get real unstable after
that message based on the timing of events.

Seems to kill the RPC server for some reason... generally
about an hour after it logs that COM+ bug. Weird...

It's an SP3 box currently, and I'm waiting to go to SP4
after an upgrade of a big 3rd-party app from a software
vendor. Hopefully that will fix it!
