colour prints only blue

Casey

Hi' Everyone,
I have a Lexmark printer, scanner copier and no matter what I do it only
prints colour in blue. I have just refilled the cartridges, the black is
fine but can't get the colour to print properly. I've followed all the
instructions in the manual but nothing works. I have refilled my cartridges
once before and it worked fine but can only get blue now. Does anyone know
what I am doing wrong apart from not buying a new cartridge as they are very
expensive. I buy Calidad ink to refill my Canon and Lexmark. the Canon works
well and usually the Lexmark. any help appreciated.
thank you,
Casey.

THE BEST THING TO DO IS THROW THE PIECE OF GARBAGE IN THE TRASH. THEN
BUY AN EPSON SCANNER (4,000 SERIES OR BETTER) AND A CANON IP5200 PRINTER.
I have just refilled the cartridges,
USE OEM INK. YOU JUST RUINED YOUR MACHINE WITH THE CRAP YOU BUY AND THE
RELABELER WILL NOT EVEN TELL YOU WHAT YOU ARE BUYING.
the black is
fine but can't get the colour to print properly. I've followed all the

EVEN THE CRAPPY MANUAL FROM THE CRAPPY PRINTER DOES NOT SAY ANYTHING
ABOUT NONAME GENERIC INK.
I have refilled my cartridges
once before and it worked fine but can only get blue now.
I AM HAPPY FOR YOU
Does anyone know
what I am doing wrong
YES YOU ARE BUYING SOMETHING AND DO NOT KNOW WHAT YOU ARE BUYING BECAUSE
THE SELLER WILL NOT TELL YOU. IN ALL FAIRNESS YOU GOT WHAT YOU DESERVED.
apart from not buying a new cartridge as they are very

THATS ONE OF YOUR PROBLEMS
to refill my Canon and Lexmark. the Canon works
well
JUST WAIT FOR THE OTHER SHOE TO DROP

I am assuming this is a printer that uses integral cartridges (printhead in the
cartridge).
If so it looks like you need to get a new colour cartridge. But first do you
get all three colours if you press the printhead onto a damp paper towel? You
may find one or more colours missing - that means a new cartridge is needed
unless you can recover it by steaming the cartridge from the spout of a kettle
(carefully to avoid scalds).
BTW I do not have a high regard for Calidad, there are better quality inks
available.

What do you expect? You bought a color printer. Blue is a color. Sorry,
you got what you bought ;)

I'm not familiar with Lexmark, but I believe I've heard the print head
is in the cartridge like with most HPs. If so, there should be some
electrical contacts to run that print head. Just as general advice, be
sure they, and the corresponding ones on the printer, are clean and free
of ink. It couldn't hurt, and might help.

It is for ol' measekite. There is speculation that he is unable to find
the "Caps Lock" key on his keyboard.
But replying to same just pops him out for those who've long ago learned
there is no discussion, just puerile ravings.

If you ran it until they spat up the low ink warning or went on till
it ran out, good chance the print head is blocked, so technically
speaking "your screwed" buy a new printer and always use
genuine ink.

Bugger.

Is this a Measekite clone??? Has he taken on a Brit vocabulary, but the
syntax and basic message are the same. BTW, I think that all of us use
genuine ink (as opposed to fake ink????) Perhaps digisol has seen people
trying to "fake" ink by using cranberry juice, blueberry juice, octopus ink,
and lemon juice instead of the CMYK inks sold by Canon, MIS, Formulabs,
Hobbicolors, and all those other genuine ink purvayers. Did he possibly
mean that the only genuine ink is OEM inks? Must be off his meds.

What a bunch of garbage. I have helped many thousands of people unclog
Epson print heads with common household cleaners and a bit of instruction.

In fact, it is rare that I encounter a printer than doesn't get fixed
(under 2%, I would guess).

And as to using "genuine ink, oh please, what makes it genuine? The price?
