Color Switches to 8bits

When I restart or turn on the computer the color quality has switched to 8bits.
I have to reset it to either 16bits or 32bits. Would this be a problem with
windows xp pro or with the Radeon 9800 pro video card or a combinationn of
both? And,
how can I corrrect this problem.

Reinstall/Upgrade your Display/Video Driver.



It looks like you have lots of problems, why not just Reinstall Windows ?
