codec renaming

Hi

I followed the advise on the fact sheet (FAQ: #20050811 Crashes & Hangs)
and downloaded the codec renamer, which appeared to have no effect
whatsoever on my problem - Movie maker crashes after every import.
I was busy for a couple of weeks and when I got round to trying to restore
the codec names, the programme informed me that it was now out of date and I
should download the latest file.
The link on the FAQ sheet does not appear to be working now and when trying
to access the 'the-kellys.org' site all I get is either the welcome to the
Kellys page with no further options or messages telling me that I need to
enter a user name and password to access the family and friends section.

Can someone please let me know of an alternative site where I can find this
programme please.

Look for posts from Al Stu... he may be able to help you. John Kelly seems
to have ended his support of Movie Maker users.
