Code 39 overexaggeration

Hi! Can anyone please help me with the following?
I got the Code 39 in Windows XP HOME SP 2 and ,in panic, I erased all the
data under
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}
instead of just changing the Upperfilters value and the Lowerfilters value,
so now the drives still dont work.
Can anyone help me by telling me what should be in there so i can re-write
it?
a little fix for the specific reg entry would do the trick as well....

Thanks,
Giorgio

Giorgio,

Which third-party CD burning program were you using before?

See if this REG fix helps:

Giorgio,

Here's the data from my registry using Windows XP SP2 machine. It's
imperative that you backup your registry before adding this .reg file to
your registry.

* Backup your registry
* open a new Notepad window
* Highlight & Copy the below data 'exactly' , do not edit in any way

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}]

* In the new Notepad window, right-click & select Paste

Giorgio,

If you have Nero's InCD installed, see if uninstalling that helps. Also try
uninstalling hp disc creator.

Many thanks to both of you who answered. The problem actually led me to the
solution. I just opened the device manager, "cancelled" my dvd drives and
restarted. Everything went back to normal. Thanks again.
