Code 28

Anyone know how to fix this? I upgraded from Win98 to
XPHome and lost the audio mixer device, no sound. Error
message says Code 28 WDM drivers deleted, which I
understand is supposed to happen on the upgrade. How can
I get sound?

Install the correct drivers.

Strange. Code 28 should be "install failed" (CM_PROB_FAILED_INSTALL, 1C hex)
