No support driver

I have lost all sound on my computer (using XP Pro). Upon
followimng troubleshooter, it states the Multimedia Audio
Controller has no drivers. Also the Active Mixer Drivers
are missing. I do not know how this has happened, but
worse still, have misplaced my original software CD's -
does anyone know how I can access these drivers. I've
checked Download centre, but am totally confused.
