Club Syllabus development

Would Access be a useful tool for me to use when putting together a Club
syllabus? I need to contact a list of speakers and record their contact
details, topics, preferred dates, and other relevant details. I do not
see a local template which would start me off and which includes a calendar.
I have Outlook but thought that a database would be more useful and
appropriate.

Please advise.

Yes, Access can do this. To get a calendar you need to add an ActiveX
control. There is not a template for this that I know of.

Thanks for the input re the calendar. I still hoping that someone has used
Access for a syllabus application and can advise me on getting started.
