Closing ports

Did a norton security check and have some open ports. How
do I go about closing them or are they supposed to be open
for windows purposes....1025,26, 28 and 30?

Hello

Ports 26,28,30 are not meant to be open unless you are running some special
services.
Use TCPView from sysinternals to see which processes are running behind
them.
