Closing Outlook 2003

During the past week, every time I turn on my computer and then open Outlook,
I get a message that it wasn't closed properly and that the system is
checking the pst file. I always close out Outlook before shutting down the
computer. Since this started happening, I do Control Alt Delete to see if any
program is still running, and nothing is. Any suggestions. Thank you.

When you go to Task Manager, go to the Processes tab and look for
Outlook.exe that may still be running in the background. The most common
cause of this is add-in software that keeps OL open in the background.
