Clipbook Viewer, Clipbook

Hi,

My question is about the Clipboard Viewer. I have been
reading along in different Win XP Pro books and they
mention about saving clipboard contents to clipbook
pages. They say "In ClipBook Viewer, click the Window
menu, and then click Local ClipBook."

Well, I don't have that option. My WINDOW menu only has
cascade, tile vertical, tile horizontal, arrange icons,
refresh and below those 1. Clipboard.

Is this "Local Clipbook" only available on Win XP server
versions? I have Win Xp Pro and I don't have Clipbooks.
Yet according to the help files, and the books, and also
MS Knowledege Base, I should.

The books I have been reading even show a picture of the
toolbar for Clipbooks, well...I have the toolbar, but
it's greyed out except for the X and Full Page view
button. My menus also have items greyed out, that belong
to the Clipbook portion of the program, yet I don't have
the option to choose "Local Clipbook" from the Window
menu.

Thank you in advance.

I am already in Clipbook Viewer. clipbrd.exe = clipbook
viewer. The quote above was from within the help file of
the clipbrd.exe program.

Again to clarify, I AM running the clipbrd.exe program!

(It's file name assumes it to be clipBOARD viewer and
it's shortcut icon says so, but after running it, it says
CLIPBOOK VIEWER in title bar).

Anyhow, I am IN the Clipbook Viewer program (clipbrd.exe)
but I do not have the option to choose "Local Clipbook"
from the Window menu and all my other menu options and
toolbar options are greyed out.

Thanks again.

I don't know the answer (testing it I see just what you do) , but it is
a clumsy program for this pretty common task, and if you want to take
the storing of clips seriously I'd suggest looking for a third party
program. The one I use is ClipMate, from www.thornsoft.com, which has a
30 day evaluation and then $29.95
