I have XP Pro. I understand there is a clipboard viewer and a feature called clipbook, but I cannot find them anywhere. Will someone please tell me where to find them?

Hi,

you can start clipboard viewer by going to Start > Run > enter clipbrd.exe
and click OK.

I hope this helps you out,

Mike

Perform the following:

1. Right-click on your Desktop and select: NEW > SHORTCUT
2. In the Create Shortcut window, type in: CLIPBRD.EXE , and click "Next"
3. In the next window, type in: ClipBoard Viewer , and click "Finish"
4. A ClipBoard Viewer shortcut icon will appear on your Desktop.

Answers from Miha Pihler and Carey Frisch worked fine but I now have another question. The help file for Clipbook Viewer describes how to transfer entry from clipboard to a clipbook. It says click on window menu, then click "local clipbook". However my window menu doesn't have that option. Am I doing something wrong?

Hi,

if you don't select any other computer you will automatically paste to local
clipbook (no need to chose).

I have the same problem as described by FSB: no "local clipbook" choice in
the window menu. What do you mean by "select any other computer"? I also
looked in the system settings for Net DDE without solving that problem.
