selection under window is missing. i've seen a couple of responses referring
people to kelly's korner, a lot of good info but still nothing about missing

1. Right-click on the Desktop and select: New>Shortcut
2. In the Create Shortcut window, type: clipbrd.exe
3. Click Next
4. In the next window, type: ClipBook Viewer
5. Click Finish
4. A ClipBook Viewer shortcut icon will appear on your Desktop. You can drag and drop
the new shortcut onto your Start Button and then when you open your Start menu, the
new ClipBook Viewer Icon will appear near the top or if you prefer leave it on your
desktop.

To add Clipboard/Clipbook Viewer to the Control Panel see Line 130

To save the contents of the Clipboard to the local ClipBook:

1. In ClipBook Viewer, click the File menu, and then click Save As.

2. In the Save As dialogue box, select the target location for your ClipBook

entry.

3. Give your ClipBook entry a name. (Its automatic extension is .clp.)

that doesn't create a local clipbook that jus copies whatever is on the
clipboard and if you reopen it it erases whatever is currently on the
clipboard it doesn't open a clipbook. clipbook viewer is madeup of 2 windows
clipboard & clipbook & i can't create a clipbook cause i have no local
clipbook to click on under window.

Don't think it can be done on a single user computer.

ClipBook
The ClipBook system service enables the ClipBook Viewer to create and share pages of
data to be reviewed by remote users. This service depends on the Network Dynamic Data
Exchange (NetDDE) service to create the actual file shares that other computers can
connect to, while the ClipBook application and service allow you to create the pages
of data to share.

When this service is stopped, the ClipBook Viewer will not be able to share
information with remote computers. If it is disabled, any services that explicitly
depend on this service will not start. Clipbrd.exe can still be used to view the
local Clipboard, where data is stored when a user highlights text and then clicks
Copy from the Edit menu, or presses CTRL+C on the keyboard.
