Clients are able to locate domain only part of the time?

I have a small network of 4 client computers connecting to a Windows Server
2003 Domain. The problem I am having is that once I join any given computer
to the domain, which works fine, I can log off and back on again a few times,
but after a while, when I try to logon to the domain I get an error saying
that it couldn't locate the domain, yet I can log on locally and access the
server, and the dhcp server is on this same computer and grabs the ip fine. I
then unjoin from the domain by joining a workgroup, and then rejoin the
domain just fine. I'm wondering if anyone else has ever experienced this, or
if maybe there's some setting on the server that I need to set, like an
inactivity timeout or something.

Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

That indicates a dns configuration problem most likely. Make sure you domain
controller points only to itself as it's preferred dns server via it's assigned
static IP address as shown via Ipconfig /all. Then make sure that the domain
computers point ONLY to the domain controller as their preferred dns server [never
ans ISP dns server] as shown via Ipconfig /all. If it is incorrect you will have to
change your DHCP scope with the correct IP address. The link below explains more on
