Client cannot autocreate some printer

Hi,

On a W2000 TS server, the printer autocreate do not work
with some printers. It's the same symtom describ on
Technet article 214593 but on Windows 2000. I've try to
create a WTSUPRN.INF but I have the same result. Is it a
bug on W2000 or any other solution is available?

Thanks

Serge

Try this article:

support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;275495

You should check in your event viewer. Look for errors
that indicate that a client printer can't be mapped. That
error will contain the exact driver name of the client's
printer. Take that name and set it equal to the name of
the printer driver that you'd like to use for it on the
terminal server. If you edited your ntprint.inf file, it
would look something like this:

"HP LaserJet 4500" = "HP LaserJet 4"

This tells the system that whenever a user has a printer
using the driver "HP LaserJet 4500" the server should use
the "HP LaserJet 4" driver.
