When I double click on a URL in a message that I receive, there is not
response, ie. I don't go the the URL location. I have to Cut-N-Paste the URL
in IE's address line.

How do I correct so double click will work?

Thanks...

Start/Run/[CMD for XP]. Type this command: REGSVR32 URLMON.DLL.
Ok/Reboot.
Then go to: IE/Tools/Internet Options/Programs/Reset Web Settings.

Windows Explorer/Tools/Folder Options/File Types. Scroll down to
URL:HyperText Transfer Protocol/Advanced/Edit. Under Application used to
perform action it should read:
"C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe" -nohome
