Click on "My Computer" icon, system lags.

When I click on the "My Computer" icon, it opens it up
and starts doing a "searching for items" and it takes
around 3 to 4 minutes before it will show the normal
icons that are in the folder like 3.5" floppy, C drive CD-
Rom and my mapped drives on my network. Can someone
please help me out?
 
Hi,

Start/run msconfig, go to the services tab and disable "windows image
acquisition". Click apply/ok and reboot, see if this helps.
