Clearing Entries from the Run command dropdown list

Sorry, I don't remember what it was. I usually suggest the following page:
http://windowsxp.mvps.org/rundel.htm

Found the page via Google way back and was one of the many
things I tried before turning to Usenet. Does not work. Which makes me
wonder if all that was coming from 'index.dat'.

Anyway, the job is done. Thanks again for the suggestions.

The answer is 'ccleaner'.

Strange I tried the solution that I posted earlier and below and it works
fine.
See: Try this: http://windowsxp.mvps.org/rundel.htm
The reboot for the changes/deletions to take effect.

As the Puss in Boots in Monty Python (almost) said:

"Oh, no. It doesn't".

Spread the word. Forget as the useless MS (masochistic)
gymnastics. Get "ccleaner". No mess, no fuss.

Gets the job done, as a professional should.

Thanks for the advice, though.

No problem, neville. Were you talking about the website URLs in the Run box,
or the command-lines? The URLs come from index.dat of course.
