Using XP Pro...

The dialog box for Remote Desktop Connection "remembers" the IP address of
the server last connected to. Specifically if I successfully connect to
server xxx.yyy.zzz.qqq, then the next time I open the Remote Desktop
Connection dialog (to connect again), it automatically shows the IP address
(xxx.yyy.zzz.qqq) I last connected to in the Computer drop-down list.

How can I clear that drop-down list that shows all the remote servers I have
connected to?

Sometimes I connect to a production server from a client's computer and I
don't want the client to later know the IP address of my production servers.
At least I don't want them to see the IP address in that particular
drop-down list.

Thanks!

Check this registry key:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Terminal Server
Client\Default

Right click the values in the right hand column you want
removed and select delete. That should remove the entries from
the Default.rdp file.
