I have lots of garbage no longer needed on here and
plenty of lag. I installed a new video card since the
time I installed XP the first time. When I reformat, and
reisntall and XP has me "Activate Windows", will this
work OK, after completely reformatting HDD and a new
video card? I know Windows needs 7/10 for it to startup,
but what about re-installation?

Thanks for any info.

If you were activated before the reformat/re-install, then you should have no problem
doing the internet activation. If you do have problems, just call the activation
support line phone number that is presented to you, tell them what you are doing and
they should activate it you with no problems.
