Clean Install of Windows 2000 Pro

Guest

I am trying to do a clean install of Windows 2000 Pro. When I choose to do the clean install, it goes through, but it keeps the original installation of Windows 2000 Pro and doesn't wipe the harddrive. Is there a way to wipe off the harddrive and start fresh with one installation of Windows 2000 Pro? Thanks

Boot from the CD. You will be able to delete, recreate, and format the hard
drive(s).

You may have to enable the option to boot from the CD before booting from
the hard drive in your computer BIOS.

Greetings --

Simply boot from the Win2K installation CD. You'll be offered the
opportunity to delete, create, and format partitions as part of the
installation process. (You may need to re-arrange the order of boot
devices in the PC's BIOS to boot from the CD.)

great response if you ask me ! multiple posts of the same
questions wastes much time, and leads to confusion because
of different answers from different people.

cross post if you must, all answers are then at least
current

Far better to select the correct group

Didn't he tell you where to find the answer? How is that not
helpful?
