"Class Already Exists" Error

Just when Windows XP Pro's desktop is starting to load AND when I shut down,
just as shut down is beginning, I receive a small error box that says at the
top "RegisterClass," then below that it says "Class Already Exists." The
only option I have is to press "OK."

There is a blue "i" in a round ballon, but clicking on it does nothing to
help.

Anyone know what's going on and how to fix it?

paulibus, thank you. I did what you said. I have 18 items in the Startup
group. I went through each one at a time. I never got the error message. I
then did the first nine, did not get the error message. I then did the last
nine, never got the error message. However, when I enabled all of the 18
items in the startup group, I got the message.

What the double L hockey sticks do you make of that?
