I gave the name of the program in my description of the
window that pops up.
From original post:
Impression2.0 Installer.exe - Entry Point Not Found
<red circle with 'x'> The procedure entry point could not
be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.dll.
In case somebody misses it again, the program is
Impression Version 2.0. It works in 95, 96, Me, NT, 2000,
and XP Home. It does not work in XP Pro. The only thing
the manufacturer has is updates to the original program.
There are no new version installs.
Since you didn't mention the name of the program, anyone reading this
group who has the program can't give you specific advice. There is no
way to tell why the program installs on your Home box and won't on Pro
without looking at the differences in each. The vast amount of
hardware/software combinations available in pc's makes tracking that
sort of thing down quite difficult. Since the program mftr. is
apparently still around, you should contact them regarding the
necessity to have the original program installed before installing the
update. Perhaps they have a workaround or a place for you to look at
settings.
