Citrix - Windows Profiles getting corrupted

We recently upgraded the Hard Drive on a domain controller
for the disk where the roaming profiles are kept. Since
then we have gotten numerous complaints about popups
saying "Windows cannot update your romaing profile.
Contact your network administrator. DETAIL - the process
cannot access the file becasue it is being used by another
process.".

Our fix was to rename the profile directory, so when the
use make the next clean entry they make a new profile
directory. We are using the NT4 domain model.

Any help will be appreciated.

Make sure the roaming profile folder is not marked for offline use.
Install the User Profile Hive Cleanup Service:

Make sure users have full control permissions of their roaming profile.
