roaming profiles

Hello,

We have 2 Citrix Metaframe XP servers running on 2 Win2k
servers in an NT 4 domain. Users logging into Citrix are
using roaming profiles.

My roaming profiles experience is very limited.

I am trying to figure out where the setting is that forces
people logging into these Citrix servers to use a roaming
and profile. I thought it would be in Terminal Services
configuration but I cannot find it.

Also, when I go into NT4 User Manager there is no Terminal
Services tab.

I would appreciate it if someone could point me in the
right direction. I did not setup this environment and am
trying to figure it out.

Thanks,

Mike H.

Testing my memory of 2000 TS in an NT4 Domain, but if it serves me correctly when you install TS on 2000 it puts a new copy of UMD (User Manager for Domains) in the system32 directory, that has the Terminal Server extentions.

Ah, here it is (Google is my friend):
Using Usrmgr.exe with Windows 2000 Terminal Services on Windows NT 4.0 Domain

To use force roaming profiles, for TS you setup a share like "tsprofile" and create a directory for each user then put this path in UMD-> Terminal Server Profile -> \\ServerName\Sharename\%username% (not sure if this will autocreated the directory for TS Profiles, like it does for Home Directories).

As long as the user has Full Control of this directory, then next time the logoff of one of your Citrix Servers it will copy their local profile to the Terminal Server Profile Path, which will be downloaded on subsequent logons.
