chkdsk problem

I keep getting the message, "C:\$Secure is corrupt and unreadable." It then
tells me to run the Chkdsk utility, which I have done several times. Still
get the message. What should I do? thx.

chkdsk or chkdsk /f

I couldnt resist, have you run chkdsk with the /f (fix) parameter
if no, do so
if yes, it could be a sign of a drive on the way out, new drives are cheaper
than data recovery
