I've got six backup drives that I rotate. One is always on the
PC, one is offsite, and four are on site.
Each time I rotate, I run ChkDsk on the drive that I just
mounted.
My gut says to reformat the drive and start over if there are any
errors at all. Not a huge deal, but I figure no sense losing
those backups if there isn't a halfway-cogent reason.
How bad is "Deleting corrupt attribute record (128, "") from file
record segment 21342".
I got eleven of those bad boys on the drive I just checked.
Adding /F to ChkDsk resulted in "Deleting orphan file record
sentiment nnnnnn" repeated 10 times.... (not eleven....)
