I tried running chkdsk from the System startup menu after receiving a notice
that i had a corrupt file. When the system reboots, I am getting the same
error message that many others have seemed to get "Cannot open access to
volume." I did research on google to try and fix this on my own but found
nothing that applied to my situation specifically. I don't have any of those
programs (Spyware doctor, zone alarm, or hitman pro) that have been
associated with the problem. I run Symantec AV and MS Antispyware and have
SP2.
I was able to run chkdsk a few months without problem but now it won't work.
I dont think i have changed anything recently.
I would appreciate any help.
Thanks
