Child Domains - Adding Group from Parent?

I have created child domain and and am trying to add users in this child
domain to security groups in the parent domain. Unfortunatley the "look in"
domain box only has the child domain listed, it does not let me see any of
my other domains? I have several universal security groups in the parent
domain I would like to add child domain members to. Little help??
