Check names

In OE 6 I often re-send an e-mail to my other e-mail address which I have
stored in the address book under the title "Me".
Whenever I press send, the Check Names box appears showing about 6 addresses
which happen to have the letters "me" somewhere in their address.
I have tried to disable the "automatically complete e-mail addresses when
composing" feature under Tools>options, but this does not stop the Check
names box from appearing.
How can I stop this irritating little feature from appearing?
Thanks

OE6? What program are you talking about?
Clarify your post. This group has nothing to do with Outlook Express.
In Outlook, there is no such option as "automatically complete e-mail
addressees."

Firstly yes I am talking about Outlook Express (generally referred to as OE).
Secondly why are you so agressive?
Outlook express is a derivative of Outlook. So where do you propose I post
this question?
If you don't know the answer point me in the right direction, don't jump
down my throat.

You could have just read the many posts here that redirect errant posters to
the correct group.
This newsgroup is for support of Outlook 97, 98, 2000, 2002, 2003 & 2007
from the Office family for Intel PCs. For Outlook Express (OE), Windows
Live Mail or Vista Windows Mail support try posting in one of these
newsgroups:

microsoft.public.windows.inetexplorer.ie6_outlookexpress for OE 6.x
microsoft.public.windows.live.mail.desktop for Windows Live Mail
microsoft.public.windows.vista.mail for Vista Windows Mail

If those groups aren't carried on the news server that's carrying this group
try using msnews.microsoft.com (MS's public news server that's the source
for all the microsoft.public newsgroups).

Another good source of info can be found here:

For future reference and to avoid confusion, Outlook Express is in no way a
"derivative" of Outlook. The two programs have nothing to do with one
another and are completely separate.
