chart ungroup problem(urgent!)

Hi there

I had a chart grouping problem in ppt. The chart was
copied from excel and pasted as enhanced metamile in ppt.
I want to some editing to the title of the chart. when I
select grouping-ungroup, all the text(ie. title, legend)
on the chart are gone. Can anyone tell me how to fix this
problem?

It may be that the text just becomes the same color as the background, so it
doesn't show up. Try this -- with nothing selected on the slide, hit your
TAB key. Continue doing so to scroll through all the objects on the slide.
When you come to something which may be a textbox, use the font color icon
on the Drawing toolbar to change the color of the text to something
contrasting.

The other thing which comes to mind is that the text could just be hidden
behind the ungrouped chart area. Try selecting that box and deleting it or
moving it behind the other objects by using the Order options on the Drawing
toolbar.

You probably cannot edit the chart since you pasted it as a metafile?
