I run microsoft windows xp, home edition, version 2002 on
intel celeron computer with 568 mhz: 192 MB of ram. I am
trying to install CreataCard CD program. Installation
instructions require that windows xp be "Windows XP
(Administrator)". How do I switch to being Administrator?
windows xp was already installed on computer when I
bought It. Thanks.

It simply means the user account must have admin rights to install the
program. If you user account has admin rights then go for it. If you need
the hidden admin account:
xp home = boot to safe mode
xp pro = ctrl-alt-del twice at the welcome screen.

You need to have an administator log on and go into the
control panel\user accounts and change your account to
administrator.Keep smiling.

They probably just mean a user account with Administrator status so as a
start look in Control Panel - User accounts to see if your account has
'Computer Administrator' against it; if so try it from there.

If it really means the reserve account *called* Administrator; the
reboot, hitting F8 as the BIOS info goes to black, and take Safe Mode.
Administrator will then appear on the Welcome screen
