Changing the loading screen in XP

Anyone know how i can change the image on the loading screen from "Windows
XP" to somthing else?

There's heaps of sites around providing different windows themes including
"welcome/log on screens, and the XP splash screen.

Just google "Windows XP Start up screens" and you'll come up with about a
billion hits.

It's not as easy as it was in Windows 9x where you just override the default
bmp file with your own, since XP uses different (?) methods to display that
screen.

Really? That brought up 5 (five) total entries for me. Either your search
term is wrong, or you were guessing.
