changing startup with msconfig---a problem

There is a program that I unchecked in msconfig startup so it would not start
when I boot up my computer. I saved the change in msconfig, rebooted my
computer and yet the program still starts. I checked msconfig and the
program was cheeked again even though I unchecked it. I tried to uncheck it
several times but it keeps reverting back to being checked. What can I do??

Thanks

Open the program in question and look for that program's preferences.
There should be an option to start on Windows startup. Disable the
option there. If that doesn't do it, you would have to make a change
in the Window's registry to stop it from starting.
