Changing Drive Letter

I'd like to change the drive letter on a floppy to anything else so I can
assign the A: designation to a USB thumb drive. Seems to work in XP. Can't
figure out how to do it in Win2000. Any suggestions?

On the several Win2000 pc's with floppy drives, I'm not able to change the
A: designation to another letter. Yes, the link below works in most
situations, but not mine. Any other ideas or am I missing something?

Some BIOSes have a setting that swaps the two floppy drives.
If the floppy cable has two connectors, connect the second one to the
floppy drive.

I don't see A: drive in Disk Management.
