Changing Drive Letter... One More Time

I'd like to change the drive letter on the floppy device to anything else so
I can assign a USB thumb drive the A: designation. Note that this is on a
Win2K notebook and I'd prefer to keep the floppy in its bay. Depending on
the system, I sometimes see the floppy represented in Disk Management, and
sometimes I don't. But even if it is there, the OS doesn't allow me to
change it.

Any other ideas?

The drive letter for the floppy is assigned in the BIOS.
