Changing default font/size

I'm using Outlook 2003. The default font/size for composing new msgs is
Arial/10. I can't seem to find where to change this default to Arial/12.

Thanks for any help.

Dave,
With Inbox displayed: Tools-->Options, Mail format tab, Under Stationery and
Fonts, click Fonts. Select font and size desired for composing, replying, and
forwarding. Be sure to check Always use my fonts under Stationery Fonts.

Dave,
Further clarification: Set your default stationery font to "none." Then the
setting under Stationery Font does not have to be as I indicated in my
previous reply.

Depends on which editor you're using and the format of the message, neither
of which you state.

Brian,
In all sincerity, please correct me if I'm missing something. With the
default stationery set to <none>, whether I'm using HTML or Rich Text format
and using Word or not using word as my email editor, in any combination, the
default composing font is governed by the setting I apply for composing new
messages. I'm assuming Dave is not using plain text.

Thanks, Reb & Brian.

If this answers your questions, I'm composing the messages in Outlook and
HTML format.

I'll try what you suggest - I'm sure that'll do it.
