changing contextual menu

Hi
When I connect my digital camera to my computer I get a pop up menu with a
selection of options in it.
Although I have not loaded any software that accompanied the camera, it
recognises it as a Canon Powershot and list all kinds of options save "open
in a folder".
As this is the very one I am looking for it is a bit frustrating, is there
any way of getting this option into this pop up menu?
Let me add, if I slide in a flash drive it does give me this option.
Waiting in anticipation...

Yes, Windows has recognized the device and has the appropriate driver
installed. I believe you are describing the dialog that appears when Windows
does not know what action to take with a device. So..., plug in the device.
When the dialog appears select the option you want and check the "Always do
the selected action" check box. Click OK.

Hi
Thanks for the prompt reply.
The problem I have is that opening a folder on the computer is not on the
list. Normally in the past I have opened the folder on the computer navigated
to where I want to copy the camera files and transferred them.
Now that option is not available on the pop up menu. It gives options like
open with: Word; Picassa; Publisher, etc but not just a folder as per normal.

Thanks for the advice, but no it doesn't solve the problem.
It seems as though the canon camera sets up its own set of options, which
are all related to photo work
The best I can manage is to opt forit to do nothing when connected, through
the optiuon menu in the dirve properties, and then get into explorer and drag
the relevant files over. This is not the best option, but it will probably
have to do.

Don't you just luv 'em
