I can't seem to change the password in my dial up
password popup.
First I click on the internet explorer e and the dial up
connection screen pops up and that has the connection,
usernme and password bars on it. The problem that I have
is I want to permanently change the password in the
password bar. When I first used this ISP I had another
password that has since changed and I want to do auto
dial up with the new password. I can erase the password
in the password bar and put in the new one check save
password and the next time I want to dial up the old
password reappears. If I didn't check save password the
password does appear blank the next time I try to
connect. I have tried making new connections but it seems
as long as I keep the same user name ( which I have to
keep because it is my e-mail address with this ISP) the
old password alwalys comes back. Also in the dial up
connection pop up I go to settings and click on the
default connection that I am using click on settings
again and at the bottom in dial up setting I change the
password but even doing this it still comes back to the
old password the next time I try to dial up. I am using
windows XP home edition with internet explorer 6.0.
Do any of you brains out there have a solution for my
