changed my outlook acct and now I still see old messages at start up

I just recently changed from a dial up provider to a
cable provider I had several messages on my old dial up
account that were unread now at startup under my user
account it still tells me that there is messages waiting
I cannot remove them as I no longer have the dial up
provider how do I remove these messages from my system
Any help would me greatly appreciated
 
If you download TweakUI, there is a tool there to clean this up. There is a
link at to the power toys, where you
can find this.
